Venus entered Taurus this morning after the trials and tribulations of its passage through Aries over the past month. By the end of the week it will be adding its earthy grace to a grand trine formed by retrograde Mars, Jupiter and Pluto.
The opposition that is also present between Mars and the Chiron/Neptune conjunction in early Pisces adds a dynamic dimension to this complex by forming a powerful and potentially transformative kite.
This formation will have an important influence for most of the month, but may well peak on 11 March when the transiting Moon will oppose Venus/Jupiter thus completing five points of the six composing a grand sextile. From where I write in London this rare formation comes to fruition on Sunday evening: see below.
